How do I reach Wilgano and is a car necessary?
Wilgano is tucked away in the quiet village of Rvaši. While the drive is incredibly scenic, the roads are narrow and winding. We highly recommend renting a car to enjoy the freedom of exploring the Lake Skadar basin at your own pace.
Do you offer airport transfers?
Yes, we can arrange private transfers from Podgorica (TGD) or Tivat (TIV) airports. Please contact us at least 48 hours in advance to provide your flight details and secure a reservation.
Where is the nearest shop or restaurant?
Rvaši is a sanctuary of peace, away from commercial hubs. The nearest grocery stores and a variety of local restaurants are located in Rijeka Crnojevića, approximately a 15-20 minute scenic drive away.
What are your Check-in and Check-out times?
Our standard check-in is from 2:00 PM, and check-out is by 10:00 AM. If you require a late check-out or early arrival, please let us know, and we will do our best to accommodate you based on availability.
Is breakfast included in my stay?
We believe in starting the day mindfully. We offer a farm-to-table breakfast featuring seasonal, organic products sourced directly from our neighbors in Rvaši and the surrounding region.
Can we have a BBQ at the Lodge?
Yes, we have a dedicated, safe BBQ and campfire area available for all our guests. To make your evening even more effortless, we can provide a "Wilgano BBQ Basket" upon request. This curated set includes premium local meats or seasonal vegetables, fresh herbs from our garden, homemade bread, and all the necessary grilling accessories. It’s a perfect way to enjoy an authentic outdoor dinner under the Montenegrin stars.
What can we order at the outdoor restaurant?
Our outdoor restaurant is a space designed for casual, mindful enjoyment. Throughout the day, you can order a selection of refreshing drinks, local wines, and artisanal coffee. We also offer a menu of "small plates" and traditional snacks, featuring regional cheeses, olives, cured meats, and seasonal delicacies sourced directly from our neighbors in Rvaši. It is the perfect spot for a light lunch or a sunset aperitivo overlooking the karst.
What is your approach to sustainability?
Wilgano is an eco-conscious resort. We utilize sustainable systems, including high-standard compost toilets and a zero-plastic policy for guest amenities. Our goal is to provide luxury that respects and preserves the delicate ecosystem of the National Park.
Can you help organize lake excursions or winery visits?
Absolutely. We work closely with local guides for private boat tours and with neighboring family wineries for intimate tastings. As these experiences are highly personalized, prior reservation is required. We are happy to assist with all arrangements during your stay.
Is there Wi-Fi at the resort?
Yes, we provide Wi-Fi in our common areas and the relaxation zone. While we encourage guests to "unplug" and connect with nature, the connection is stable enough for remote work.
What is your cancellation policy?
To maintain the intimacy of our resort, we have a specific cancellation window. Detailed terms are provided during the booking process, but generally, we offer a full refund for cancellations made up to 14 days before arrival.
Is Wilgano suitable for families with children?
We welcome families who wish to connect with nature. However, please note that our terrain is natural, rocky, and features uneven stone paths. For safety reasons, children must be under constant adult supervision at all times, especially near the pool and the higher ridges of the property.
How far is the nearest swimming spot in the lake?
The picturesque fishing village of Karuč is just a 10-minute drive (or a scenic hike) away. There, you can find crystal-clear waters perfect for a refreshing dip in the lake. We can also arrange private boat tours that take you to hidden, swimmable bays.
